Fall

So of course after traveling to three cities in a week Adrian and I ended up with a head/sinus cold which relatively put me out of commission for the few days we've been home.  Luckily we are both feeling better now and just in time to head back to Tallahassee for a few days. The Jacksonville convention was a hoot.  We had a lot of fun with a lot of good friends and my 25th birthday was an absolute blast.  Big thanks to everyone who came out and made me feel like a million bucks.  It was a great introduction back into the real world after spending the last few weeks cooped up and feeling like a bloated, house of a woman!  I'm still working on getting through all the photos from the weekend and I do promise to post a few sneak peaks of the convention coverage plus some birthday photos when I finally find the time to get around to it.

Hmm, what else is new.  Adrian is still loving being a big brother.  Sleep deprivation is beginning to get manageable and we have just started planning for Adrian's second birthday.  Can't believe my little man is already almost two years old.

We've been working on some new products for the shop.  Namely, branding some cool pirate style aftercare and packaging Will's new line of tattoo machines which were just picked up by Diversified. The hardest part has been finalizing the logo, but I think he's finally settled on something similar to this.  Still have to polish it up but I think it's going to look pretty cool stamped on the boxes.

I've also been working on the Halloween mini sessions I have coming up later this month and next.  Can't wait to see all the cute little kiddos in their costumes.  Speaking of which, I really need to figure out what the boys are going to be this year. Hmmm....

the final countdown

Holy hell I hate packing; and packing for a family of 4 is ridiculous. We will be gone 3 days but by our luggage load you would think we'll be there a month.  We have everything from our work equipment to a boat load of little boy clothes (because accidents happen, often!), snacks for the boys and friends, my "beauty supplies" and Will's random crap.  Normally this process would be hard enough, but a certain somebody keeps emptying out the luggage and nearby laundry bins which has made it quite the endeavor.

Luckily Jax has been sleeping through it all. What a keeper!

Oh and if you're receiving weird texts or silent calls from my phone, this is why...

Countdown to Jacksonville

It's been a hectic week.  Not only do we have a kiddo fresh out of the oven (12 days old today!), but we've also been finalizing some details for the Jacksonville Tattoo Convention coming up this weekend (aka finishing up lots of print work and handling last minute appointments) .  It's our last convention for 2012 and as usual, Will is tattooing and I'm photographing the convention for the magazines.  It also happens to be my 25th birthday weekend so we are bringing an arsenal of people to help and hang out.  Since both of our boys are coming with us, we are bringing Nana (my mom) to help with Jax and both the boys at night and Amberchelle (a good friend and Will's apprentice's, Justin's,  girlfriend) to help man Adrian during the day.  Adrian is a huge convention fan. He is in it for the babes, the cool people and the attention. On top of that, a bunch of good friends will be at the convention to help celebrate my 25 years of living, so I'm a pretty excited girl right about now.   It's also nice to have such a big support system that we are able to actually do this only 2 weeks after bringing Jax into the world.  Times like this make me so thankful for all the rad people in our lives.

And now allow me to share with you my favorite time of day...Arney baby nap hour!

Awww aren't they cute ;)  And one more of the fresh peanut, for good measure

New world, New blog

I know how hectic life got when my husband and I had our first little boy, so I can only imagine where things will head now that we have two little Arney boys to watch over. I'm hoping this blog will help keep me focused a bit but at the very least it will be a place to empty my head and camera so that my facebook friends don't want to slowly  kill/delete me off.  That being said, onto the Arney baby photos!!!

ahhh yes, love love love em!
